September Meeting and Community Updates The Board met with the community landscaper to review the service in the community and discuss shrubs and pruning. The Board approved the estimate to repair the steps at the pool where settling has occurred The ARC guidelines will be updated to prohibit AC window units except for temporary cases approved by the Board as needed due to repair. Temporary approved units are recommended to placed in an area not visible from the street The Association will reach out to the Town of Wake Forest on when construction will be completed. The community yard sale will be October 7th
August Meeting and Community Updates The Board discussed adding a landing and steps from the cabana to the pool. We are in the process of obtaining an estimate for the project. The Association is obtaining estimates to repair the steps at the top of the cabana to the pool. The Board is reviewing the 2018 budget. The budget will continue to be discussed and reviewed at the September and October meetings. There will be several upcoming community social events including an end of season pool party and Halloween event Victoria Bledsoe from the Townhomes was appointed to serve on the Board.
July Meeting Update and Community Items The Bike Rack has been installed at the pool New umbrellas have been added to the pool Three new dog stations have been added in the community. The Board will look at security camera options A cork board will be added to the pool area for community use A possible additional of a dog park was discussed A policy resolution not allowing rentals less then 30 days was approved.
Did you know the community maintains and owns a pond at the end of Poteat and Polanski?! The Association is looking at options to improve this area.
Speed Enforcement Update The Town of Wake Forest and Wake Forest Police Department will be adding speed monitoring equipment in the community at the end of August. This will provide feedback for the Town on what type of traffic calming devices can be added to the community and their locations. During growing season, mow your lawn weekly. This is
every 7 days. Do not allow it to go 10, 12, or 14 days. That
allows the grass to get too tall and is actually bad for the grass.
Do not blow grass clippings into the street. They
should be left on your lawn as they help to feed the soil. If you
have a layer of clippings laying on your lawn, that means you waited too
long to mow and you should mow more often.
Edge your driveway and sidewalks at least 2 times per
month. Weekly is preferred.
Pull the weeds out of planting beds on a weekly basis.

When are the assessment fees due? The association assessment fees are collected twice a year in January and July.
